Our mission is to teach, primarily
by practicing, a concept we call Spiritual Investing. Spiritual
Investing has two dimensions, often symbolized by the Christian
cross, but also common to the other great spiritual traditions of
the world. The vertical dimension reflects our spiritual relationship
with our creator. Spiritual Investing seeks to replace fear, greed,
impatience, complexity and scarcity thinking with faith, prudence,
patience, simplicity and abundance thinking in our investing, saving,
and giving. To that vertical dimension, we add a horizontal component.
It is known as socially responsible (liberal) or values based (conservative)
investing. We prefer Spiritual Investing as this term transcends
the political connotations so often attached to the previous two.
The ethical component of Spiritual Investing indicates that whenever
possible, we prefer investments that either do no harm or do loving
things for our neighbors both here and abroad.
The primary purpose of this
site is to provide a basic college or seminary level understanding
of wealth management and how money and the spirit can integrate
through Spiritual Investing.
