Gary Moore
has over twenty years of Wall Street experience. He was a senior
vice president of investments for Paine Webber before thinking of
seminary in the late 1980's. He later founded Gary Moore & Co.,
Counsel to Ethical and Spiritual Investors, whose clients are interested
in integrating spirituality and/or ethics with their investments.
Gary has authored several books, including Ten
Golden Rules For Financial Success: Riches I've Gathered From
Legendary Mutual Fund Manager Sir John M. Templeton (HarperCollins/Zondervan,
1996); End-Times Money Management
(HarperCollins/ Zondervan, 1998); and Spiritual
Investments (Templeton Foundation Press, 1998).
He serves or has served on the board of trustees of Messiah College;
the board of advisors of the John Templeton Foundation; the board
of trustees of the Crystal Cathedral; the board of directors of
the Joy International Leadership Center; and as the treasurer of
Opportunity International--a Christian-based, micro-enterprise organization
which creates jobs among the poorest of the Third World.
He speaks often to religious, government and education leaders
concerning the reintegration of political economy and personal financial
management into a moral and spiritual framework. He has spoken in
international communities as diverse as Uganda, Mexico, and Canada
as well as domestic communities as diverse as Beverly Hills, California
and Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
He has been a commentator on the political economy for UPI National
Radio and the Skylight Radio Network. His views have appeared in
publications from Forbes to Money to Christianity
Today.
